We aim to arrange a group language trip each year, so far concentrating on Germany, Austria and Italy. These are a few days spent in our chosen destination, immersing ourselves the culture and practising the language whilst enjoying each other’s company.

To date we have had five trips, with numbers ranging from 13-21 travellers. In 2013 there was a memorable rain-soaked trip to Munich.
In 2015 we visited two countries. In Bologna we sampled delicious Italian food and made a day trip to the beautiful city of Ravenna. Later in the year a German group travelled to Bad Dürkheim to sample German wine in this lovely town by the Rhine and explore the “Deutsche Weinstrasse”.
In 2016 a group of Italian students visited Padova, a lovely historic university town in northern Italy, from where we made a day trip to Venice.
In September 2017 the German group enjoyed(!) a very wet 4-day visit to Stubaital in Austria. Despite the rain we walked, ascended several cable cars, and ate lots of delicious Austrian food in the delightful Hotel Rosengarten.

Further trips are planned: currently a visit to Napoli in spring 2019, and a German destination as yet undecided.
